  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. While the bars are baking, prepare the maple glaze by combining the maple syrup and powdered sugar in a small bowl. Stir until smooth.
  9. Once the bars are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Drizzle the maple glaze over the cooled bars.
  11. Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
