The name ‘Rich Witch’ comes from the combination of the rich pumpkin flavor and the spooky Halloween theme.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a small bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake.
