  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together the pumpkin puree, eggs, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix well.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. While the cake is baking, prepare a clean kitchen towel by sprinkling it with powdered sugar.
  6. When the cake is done, immediately invert it onto the prepared towel. Carefully roll up the cake and towel together, starting at the short end. Allow the cake to cool completely in the rolled position.
  7. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Gently unroll the cooled cake and spread the cream cheese filling evenly over the surface. Roll the cake back up without the towel, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  9. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy!
