  1. Crush the cardamom pods and remove the seeds.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, yeast, crushed cardamom seeds, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter, milk, and beaten egg to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
  8. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between them. Cover with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Brush the rolls with milk and sprinkle pearl sugar on top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and let the Pulla cool on a wire rack.
