  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the donut holes from the oil and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  7. Once cooled, use a piping bag or small knife to fill each donut hole with pudding.
  8. Dust the filled donut holes with powdered sugar.
