  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the persimmon pulp, butter and sugar. Stir in the egg. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt; gradually mix into the persimmon mixture. Fold in the walnuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned at the edges. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
