  5. Place the sliced sweet potatoes in a baking dish.
  6. Pour the butter mixture over the sweet potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and sprinkle the pecans over the sweet potatoes.
