In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt.

Add the cold cubed butter to the bowl and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
