  3. Add the cold cubed butter to the bowl and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. Cut into bars while still warm.
  9. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan.
  10. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
