Pecan Bars
Pecan bars are a popular dessert in the southern United States and are often enjoyed during holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt.

Cut in the unsalted butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press the mixture into the bottom of an 8x8-inch baking dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Stir in the chopped pecans.

Pour the pecan filling over the crust and spread evenly.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set.

Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
