  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and eggs to the mixture, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Gradually add the flour to the mixture and stir until just combined.
  5. Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan. Dollop spoonfuls of peanut butter onto the batter and swirl with a knife.
  6. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chips over the peanut butter layer. Place the peanut butter cups on top.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the peanut butter cups and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 1 hour before cutting into squares.
