Slow Cooker Sugared Pecans & Walnuts
Pecans and walnuts are both nutrient-dense nuts that are high in healthy fats and protein.

In a large bowl, combine the pecans, walnuts, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Stir until the nuts are evenly coated.

Transfer the nut mixture to a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

After 2 hours, remove the lid and continue to cook for an additional 30 minutes to allow the nuts to crisp up.

Once the nuts are crispy and coated in a sugary glaze, remove them from the slow cooker and spread them out on a baking sheet to cool.

Allow the nuts to cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
