  2. Peel and grate the carrots. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and cinnamon stick. Cook until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  5. Add grated carrots, turmeric powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add soaked and drained basmati rice to the pan. Stir well to combine with the carrot mixture.
