  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter. Spoon a teaspoon of Nutella onto the center of each cupcake. Top with more batter to cover the Nutella.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Once the cupcakes are cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
