Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.

Roll out the pie crust and cut out circles using a round cookie cutter.

Place a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture in the center of each circle.

Fold the circle in half and seal the edges with a fork.

Transfer the empanadas to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk to make an egg wash.
