Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and grapefruit zest.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the batter. Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate into the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and chocolate.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top of the bread with powdered sugar. Slice and serve.
