Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Grease and line a square baking tin with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, melt the butter, brown sugar, and golden syrup over low heat until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add the melted butter mixture and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients, and mix until well combined.

Beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then add them to the mixture and stir until fully incorporated.

Fold in the macadamia nuts.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin and spread it evenly.
