Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top of the loaf with powdered sugar before serving.
