In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the lavender flowers and salt, and mix well.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour and mix until the dough comes together.

Shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice the chilled dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
