Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a saucepan, combine the cornmeal, milk, molasses, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the raisins.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 1 hour, or until set.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
