  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, honey, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in the almonds. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
