  4. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Press the mixture into a tart pan and smooth the top.
