  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, dried cranberries, granulated sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Dot the top of the filling with small pieces of butter.
  6. Roll out the remaining pie crust and place it on top of the filling. Trim and crimp the edges.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Brush the egg wash over the top crust.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
