Hazelnut-Apricot Windows

In a food processor, pulse the hazelnuts until finely ground. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms.

Fold in the ground hazelnuts and dried apricots.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

Cut out windows shapes using a cookie cutter.

Place the cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
