  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
  6. Fold in the mango puree and shredded coconut.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top of the cake.
  11. Garnish with fresh mango slices and toasted coconut flakes.
