Slice the green tomatoes and set aside.

Remove the stems from the Swiss chard and roughly chop the leaves.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and garlic cloves to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the Swiss chard leaves and cook until wilted, about 3 minutes.

In a greased baking dish, layer the sliced green tomatoes and sautéed Swiss chard.

In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the tomato and Swiss chard layers.
