Muffins were originally called ‘muffin cakes’ and were a type of bread served in the 18th century.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 45 minutes. Even a beginner can handle preparing this dish. Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
