  2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy. Stir in the Grand Marnier and orange zest.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
