  4. Pour the sour cream mixture over the french fries, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. While the casserole is baking, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Crumble the bacon into small pieces.
  8. Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
