French fries were originally created in Belgium, not France!
This is vegetarian and high protein recipe. Dish can be prepared in 60 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Spread the frozen french fries evenly in a greased casserole dish.

In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour the sour cream mixture over the french fries, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

While the casserole is baking, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Crumble the bacon into small pieces.

Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Garnish with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
