Ingredients
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
-
While the tater tots are baking, heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
-
Remove the baked tater tots from the oven and transfer them to the skillet with the cooked vegetables. Use a spatula to gently press down on the tater tots to flatten them slightly.
-
Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.
-
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tot hashbrowns and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
-
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
