Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.

Fold in the mashed bananas, chopped walnuts, and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
