  1. Wash the rice and soak it for 30 minutes. Drain the water.
  2. Grind the rice into a coarse powder.
  3. In a pan, heat milk and bring it to a boil.
  4. Add the ground rice to the milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  5. Cook on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add sugar, cardamom powder, rosewater, almonds, pistachios, and saffron. Mix well.
  7. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  9. Pour the firni into serving bowls or dishes.
  10. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy!
