Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil.

Remove from heat and add flour. Stir until the mixture forms a ball.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition until smooth.

Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling by whipping the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.

Slice the cooled cream puff shells in half horizontally. Fill the bottom halves with the whipped cream mixture.
