  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the bread into cubes and spread them on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and cook until softened.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the toasted bread cubes, cooked onion and celery mixture, broth, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
