Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.

Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once the cupcakes are cooled, use a knife or cupcake corer to remove a small portion from the center of each cupcake.

Fill each cavity with dulce de leche.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cupcakes.
