Rinse the lentils and soak them in water for 30 minutes. Drain.

In a blender, blend the soaked lentils, onion, garlic, ginger, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chili powder, bread crumbs, and salt until well combined.

Shape the mixture into small balls.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the balls until golden brown.

In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, salt, and fresh cilantro.
