  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar and eggs, stirring until fully incorporated.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.
  7. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
