Custard Filo Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round baking dish.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Lay one sheet of filo pastry in the baking dish and brush it with melted butter. Repeat with half of the filo sheets.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, flour, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

Pour the custard mixture over the filo sheets in the baking dish.

Layer the remaining filo sheets on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the custard is set and the filo pastry is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 1 hour.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
