In the meantime, prepare the crumble topping by combining almond meal, butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Remove the cake from the oven and sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cake. Return the cake to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve the crispy crumbles on Gateau Chocolat with a dusting of powdered sugar.
