  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, egg, orange zest, orange juice, and milk.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the fresh cranberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
