  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together egg, milk, and vegetable oil. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture until just moistened. Fold in cranberries and pecans. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. Slice and serve cranberry bread as desired.
