Coconut Creme Bars
Coconut is not a nut, but rather a fruit!
This is vegetarian and gluten free recipe. Dish can be prepared in 105 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, combine the crust ingredients and press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and salt until well combined.

Pour the mixture over the baked crust.

Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the filling is set.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 hour.

Sprinkle the toasted coconut flakes over the top of the bars.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, before cutting into bars.
