Peel back the husks of the corn, but keep them attached at the base. Remove the silk from the corn.

In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper.

Spread the herbed butter mixture evenly over each ear of corn.

Pull the husks back up over the corn and tie them with kitchen twine.

Place the corn on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and lightly charred.

Remove the corn from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Remove the husks and serve the grilled corn hot.
