  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and remaining 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Slice and serve.
