Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream. Mix until just combined.

Fold in the mashed bananas, chocolate chips, and cacao nibs.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
