  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and dark chocolate together, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the brownie bars to cool in the pan for 30 minutes.
  10. Cut into bars and serve.
