Chocolate Chip Nutella Marshmallow Bars
Nutella was created during World War II when an Italian pastry maker mixed hazelnuts into chocolate to extend his chocolate supply.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 70 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a square baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.

Drizzle the Nutella over the batter and spread it out.

Scatter the marshmallows over the Nutella layer.

Drop spoonfuls of the remaining batter on top of the marshmallows.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow to cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes before cutting into bars.
