Chocolate Chip Cookies
The chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Graves Wakefield in 1938. She added chopped up bits from a Nestle semi-sweet chocolate bar into a cookie recipe at the Toll House Inn in Massachusetts, and thus, the chocolate chip cookie was born!

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
