Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Crush the chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the chestnut puree, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour the mixture over the crust in the pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it over the cooled cheesecake. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Serve chilled with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
