  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the biscuit crumbs.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition.
  7. Mix in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
  8. Melt the dark chocolate and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  9. Pour the mixture over the biscuit base in the springform pan.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set.
  11. Allow the cheesecake to cool in the oven with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  12. Remove from the oven and let it rest at room temperature for 4 hours.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  14. Before serving, whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  15. Dust the cheesecake with cocoa powder and serve with fresh berries, if desired.
