Cut the bread slices into cubes and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.

Add milk, eggs, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.

Add the bread cubes to the mixture and gently toss until all the bread cubes are coated.

Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the liquid.

Stir in the chocolate chips.
